Here at Cube Online, we believe there’s no such thing as a silly question – especially when it comes to the digital world.
To get your questions answered, we’ve compiled a list of the most common questions we receive, but we accept submissions so contact us if yours isn’t answered below.
This will depend on the size of your business premises. We generally say that a small business will take a minimum of one hour to capture in all its glory.
Your virtual tour will only include areas that you would like to showcase. You will have complete control over what is shown and which areas are not shown, or are blurred using Google technology. This is one of the reasons we ask that you are present before and during the shoot, to highlight no-go zones to your Cube Online photographer.
Or rather, how long does it take to create perfection? About 30 days, to be precise, because your Google 360° tour will go live within 30 working days of your photo shoot.
We need this time to make it perfect – plus there are a few technical steps involved… Once your photographer has taken each panoramic 360º photograph, they will head back to the lab* to “stitch” them together using state-of-the-art software designed specifically by Google for their trusted agencies.
Your tour is a window into your business so we take extra time to pass it under the microscope of our quality assurance experts to make sure it is absolutely perfect.
We will send you a celebratory email as soon as it’s live.
Google may use the images in other products and services in new ways that will make your business information more useful and accessible to users.
Of course you can. If you refurbish your business or have seasonal décor you can re-do the shoot at any point and we’d be more than happy to pay you another visit. Just contact our Cube Online team to discuss your options.
If you don’t verify your Google MyBusiness listing, it could disappear at any time, or it could be overwritten based on information that is automatically pulled from the Internet. Verification is a key step in securing and controlling information about your business.
That is an excellent question and the answer is a little bit like explaining the theory of relativity, why a duck’s quack doesn’t echo (or does it?), or Murphy’s Law – complicated.
But if we were to put it in a nutshell, we would say that SEO stands for search engine optimisation, which is used to improve an online channel’s (website or social media page) ranking on search engines, based on chosen key search terms (e.g. your business name, category, location, etc).
The higher your site appears in search results, the more likely people are to click through to the site itself.
We understand things come up, and are happy to accomodate where we can. However we require at least 2 business days notice for reschedules, and keep in mind that due to demand we may not be able to fit you back in for several weeks.
If you do reschedule your shoot within the 2 business day window, a fee of $149 may be charged.
The cost for the Google 360 Virtual Tour starts at $359 and it varies depending on the size of the business.
